PM Processes
The 47 PMBoK comprises two different agroupments of processes:
- Knowledge Areas;
- PM Process Groups.
The difference between then is that Knowledge Areas concentrate the processes by the nature of the PM tasks. Each KA corresponds to a chapter on the PMBoK. As you know, these chapters explains best practices about Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Human Resources, Communications, Risks, Procurement and Stakeholders.
When you see Project Management looking at the moment which the PM Process is executed, you can see a division in Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring & Controling and Closing.
